Joy specializes in representing her clients in the purchase and sale of homes and residential land within the cities of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg. She is the tri-cities waterfront property connection in the development of Lake front subdivision development.
Joy's second specialization has become REO, HUD & VA foreclosure properties. She has quite a reputation with local investors as being able to spot "the good deal." Investor clients are by referral only.
Personal
Joy is a Chester native having been born and raised in the local area. Her youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations centered around school, church and athletics. She attended Thomas Dale High School and was a J.V. Cheerleader, fast pitch pitcher on the Varsity Softball team, earning the "Best in Softball" trophy and "Best Sportsmanship" out of all of the girls sports programs her senior year. Joy also received a scholarship to college for pitching. She was also active in the Future Business Leaders of America and served as president. She currently resides in Dinwiddie County and has two children. Joseph (12) who attends Dinwiddie Middle School and Elizabeth (16) who attends the High School. Her husband, Bryan also has an active Real Estate license but is more active in the developing aspect of Real Estate. River Run and Waterford Landing Subdivisions are the most recent developments with a new development to be started in the near future in Prince George County and another waterfront community "Whipponock Landing" on Lake Chesdin in Dinwiddie County that is currently in the works with lots to be available in mid to late 2009.
Some hobbies of Joy's include spending time with the family, traveling to Hatteras Island, snow skiing, attending music concerts, participating in coaching, organizing and serving as Commissioner of the Dinwiddie Girls Dixie Youth Fast Pitch Program, Youth worker at Central Baptist Church and Impact VA participant.
Joy believes in serving the local community to which she owes a great deal of gratitude for her continued success in the Real Estate business. She uses her time and talents to encourage and set a good example for the youth in Dinwiddie County. Joy has a simple philosphy...follow the "golden rule."
